Mike Littlefield failed to improve on his drop weeks after finishing 2nd in the first race and crashing out of the second race Tuesday night.

TJ Graves had a similar night finishing 3rd earning 127 points then got caught in the same incident as Littlefield.

The real controversy of the night was after a last lap Overtake by Rusty Greer on Mike Daniel in the pit straight ended with contact on the exit of turn 1. The two drivers both crashed out in the same incidents in the closing moments of the prior race.

Have done about 400 laps here in practice/testing now and can say that this track is one of the harder ones to get consistent at. The main thing in keeping speed throughout the corners is to stay on the apron through 1-2 the ENTIRE time, but let it roll, and once the car rotates in the center just enough, get on the throttle. However, on exit you really have to be careful to not get under the apron with your left front. Or you may go spinning. In the picture below I put a red circle around the part of the apron you REALLY don't want to mess up on. 3-4 isn't so detrimental to the lap time if you mess up. The same principles apply, except going up the track a little isn't going to destroy a lap time by more than 2-5 hundredths  And in the video below, I actually hit quite a fast lap while pushing up the track in 3-4. So like I said it doesn't make a HUGE difference. I hope this helped, look out for a set on the setup page by Tuesday morning ... Read more »
